Launching the Partnership Feature at OSS, Bahlil Emphasizes Collaboration

The Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) officially launched the Partnership Feature in the Risk-Based Online Single Submission (OSS) system on Wednesday (7/12/2022). The launch was carried out by the Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia in the Investment Partnership Forum: Partnership of Business Actors for Inclusive and Sustainable Investment.Through this event, the Ministry of Investment also facilitated the signing of a partnership agreement represented by 8 large businesses and 7 MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises).

BKPM Investment Minister Bahlil Lahadalia said this feature serves to make it easier for big entrepreneurs to establish MSME partnerships in the regions. This is encouraged for the development of MSMEs and the involvement of local workers in every investment or project in the region."Every investment that goes anywhere must be in collaboration with entrepreneurs. This is so that there is even distribution of growth. I know very well the contributions of businessmen who have advanced the economy well in the regions, it would be nice to collaborate," he said in the Investment Partnership Forum: Business Partnerships. for Inclusive and Sustainable Investment held by the Ministry of Investment BKPM, Wednesday (7/12/2022).He added, entrepreneurs must collaborate with MSMEs in order to empower local people to become masters in their own country.
According to him, this collaboration is important because MSMEs have become one of the backbones of the Indonesian economy during various crises, such as the 1998 and 2008 crises, until the emergence of Covid-19In addition, MSMEs are also the sector that absorbs the most jobs where out of 130 million jobs, 120 million are provided by MSMEs. "From now on it's not a matter of who is great, but collaboration together because the world now needs good cooperation, through the Ministry of Investment we must maintain the rules together," he explained. Meanwhile, Deputy for Investment Climate Development at the Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Yuliot said that this feature can be accessed via the subdomain https://kemitraan.oss.go.id/

"PMDN and PMA choose regional MSMEs, where OSS has enhanced its service features so that it allows large businesses to see potential MSME partners in the regions and vice versa," he added. On the same occasion, the Deputy for Investment and Mining at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Septian Hario Seto, said that large investments coming in simultaneously through partnerships can make MSMEs in the regions more developed.
"So it is important for us to monitor the implementation of the partnership. This is one important thing, here is the key to how our economic resilience will survive in the future. If it is as expected, of course large businesses will develop, MSMEs will also develop," explained Septian.Furthermore, he said that the existence of this MSME partnership could be the key to national economic resilience next year in facing various global risks.
