Formula E is an official program of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government that was approved by the DPRD to revive the economy when Covid-19 is under control. Researcher from the Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (Indef) Rizal Taufikurahman said that based on research results, the direct economic value or impact of infrastructure development from the implementation of the Jakarta E-Prix 2022 was USD 40 million.

The results show an increase of 0.08% against the benchmark or equivalent to USD 134 million based on the basis of constant prices (ADHK). This figure is obtained by adding up the impact on the additional DKI GRDP of IDR 134 million and the direct impact of USD 40 million.
