PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin), a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia, Tbk (Telkom), together with Expereo International B.V. (Expereo), announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the World Trade Center Amsterdam, Friday (2/9). This signing was carried out in the context of collaboration to develop a joint go-to-market strategy in terms of providing internet connectivity and acceleration services and optimizing the SD-WAN cloud. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Telin's Chief Executive Officer, Budi Satria Dharma Purba, with Expereo's Chief Executive Officer, Irwin Fouwels. Also witnessing this event was the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, accompanied by the Indonesian Ambassador to the Netherlands, Mayerfas, and the President Director of Telkom, Ririek Adriansyah. In his remarks, Erick Thohir said that his party continues to encourage SOEs to Go Global. Especially through collaboration which will be the key to future growth. "Hopefully this collaboration can lead Telkom to continue to expand its digital footprint throughout the world," he said in his statement, Sunday (4/9). The signing of the MoU between Telin and Expereo is a good momentum in order to increase the capabilities of both parties. Thus, it can provide the best service to customers, as well as the emergence of other opportunities in the future. The strategic partnership between Telin, which focuses on the international telecommunications business, and Expereo as a global provider of managed internet and hybrid networks, SD-WAN, and cloud connectivity solutions, is expected to create added value, competitive prices, and commercial models. The go-to market strategy formed from this collaboration will enable Expereo to offer Telin services to potential customers globally. Telkom's President Director, Ririek Adriansyah, explained that Europe is one of the company's focuses to develop business in the future. Telin's business in the Netherlands is growing very well with a growth of more than 32%. "In addition to providing services to wholesalers and global carrier operators, Telin also provides services and solutions to the enterprise segment. These include Indonesian companies with overseas branches and Indonesian government offices such as the Embassy," he said. Ririek also hopes that Telin's collaboration with Expereo can strengthen each other's capabilities and accelerate Indonesia's digital transformation. Moreover, this collaboration is very relevant to enable the development of government agencies and Indonesian multinational companies in Europe and Africa. On the same occasion, CEO of Telin, Budi, added that in today's digital era, with an always-on network, near-perfect and uninterrupted connectivity is very important for business continuity.
