All components of the state's income rose," said Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani at the press conference of the APBN KiTA in Jakarta, Monday. Realization of state revenues includes tax revenues of Rp. 676.1 trillion, an increase of 49.1 percent from Rp. 453.5 trillion in April 2021 and PNBP of Rp. 177.4 trillion. This tax revenue consists of tax revenues of IDR 567.7 trillion, up 51.5 percent from the same period last year of IDR 374.6 trillion and customs and excise of IDR 108.4 trillion, which also increased by 37.7 percent from IDR 78.7 trillion. Then PBB and other taxes of IDR 2.43 trillion or 8.17% of the target and Oil and Gas PPh of IDR 30.66 trillion or 64.8 percent of the target.

The performance of tax revenues up to April was supported by the upward trend in commodity prices as well as expansive economic growth and the level of demand that continues to improve, thereby encouraging increased imports and employment. In addition, the excellent performance on taxes was also due to the low base last year and the implementation of the Voluntary Disclosure Program (PPS) policy. In detail, the high revenue growth was mainly supported by the Annual Corporate Income Tax which was in line with the maturity of the submission of Corporate Income Tax Returns as well as economic transactions that increased during Ramadan as well as a partial shift in the payment of PPh 22 on THR to April. Meanwhile, customs and excise revenues amounting to Rp108.4 trillion or 44.2 percent of the Rp245 trillion target include import duties, which grew 33.2 percent, driven by improvements in the national economy as well as the trade and processing sector.

Customs and excise revenues were also driven by excise duty which grew by 30.8 percent due to the implementation of excise policies and the effectiveness of supervision and relaxation of PPKM policies and the improvement in the hotel sector including tourism. Export duties (BK) which grew by 102.1 percent also boosted customs and excise revenues in line with the increasing volume of exports of copper and CPO BK which grew due to the maximum BK tariff and the imposition of BK on its derivative products. Finally, for PNBP revenues of Rp. 177.4 trillion, which increased 52.9 percent of the target of Rp. 335.6 trillion, it was supported by increased revenues from all PNBP components except for Business Service Entities (BLU). BLU revenues contracted 36.4 percent or still 25.7 percent of the target due to reduced revenues from oil palm plantation fund management and education services.
