Investment in North Morowali Second Largest in Central Sulawesi Reaches IDR 4.9 Trillion per January-March

Investment activities in North Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi, are still enthusiastic, with the dominance of the nickel mining sector. According to a report from the Central Sulawesi One Stop Integrated Service and Investment Service (DPMPTSP) in the First Quarter of 2022 (January – March), Monday (16/5), Central Sulawesi's investment reached IDR 20.02 Trillion.
The top five regencies/cities with the highest realization are Morowali Regency (IDR 14.021 trillion), North Morowali (IDR 4.902 trillion), Poso (IDR 665.76 billion), Palu City (IDR 141.73 billion) and Donggala (IDR 136, 92 billion).
This year, the central government through the Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordination Agency (BKPM) RI has targeted the realization of Central Sulawesi's investment of IDR 53.09 trillion. This target is an increase of 67.21% when compared to 2021 which is only IDR 31.75 Trillion. North Morowali Regent Delis J. Hehi opened the door wide and even rolled out a red carpet welcoming serious investors to invest in this area with a population of around 125,000 people.
