West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Will Export 380 Tons of Coffee to Turkey and South Korea

West Nusa Tenggara will export 380 tons of coffee to Turkey and South Korea in July 2022. Exporter of coffee from NTB, UD. "This amount is what we are able to fulfill to Turkey and Korea, we will ship it in July. We are currently only entering the harvest season and the preparation stage. The export value of 380 tons of coffee is around Rp. 50 billion," Thoriq explained, Tuesday (26). /4/2022).


Thoriq explained that the availability of coffee in Lombok was sufficient to fulfill orders from the two countries. "Availability of coffee is sufficient, our land is around 600 hectares, it is very sufficient to meet export demand. Production so far has been supported by banks and also incoming investment," he said. Turkey's interest in Lombok robusta coffee after a coffee exhibition in Istanbul facilitated by the Consulate General Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) Istanbul. Data from the Trade Office recorded that the production of robusta coffee was 5,126 tons and arabica 730 tons.
