These are the Health Protocol Stages for Foreign Tourists at Ngurah Rai Airport

If there are no obstacles starting October 14, 2021, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali will again open international flights and foreign tourists. Previously, Ngurah Rai Airport was closed to international flights and foreign tourists during the implementation of community activity restrictions (PPKM). To smooth out the plan, the manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport has simulated international flights or when they receive foreign tourists. The simulation was carried out for the Incheon Airport flight route to Ngurah Rai using the Garuda Indonesia GA 871 aircraft which carried 90 passengers.
When foreign passengers or tourists arrive, they are directed to the arrival area while still implementing health protocols. The simulation stages are as follows:

1. Check body temperature after disembarking the aircraft.
2. Examination of health documents.
3. Sampling of the RT-PCR test.
4. Checking immigration documents.
5. Baggage collection.
6. Customs inspection.
7. Waiting for the results of the RT-PCR test.
8. Final check for transportation and accommodation.
9. Passengers go to the pick-up area to continue the journey to the quarantine hotel.

Herry AY Sikada, General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport - Bali explained that for the implementation of the simulation which took place last weekend (9/10), his party was in synergy with stakeholders. "So that we can really serve international passengers," he said in a written statement last weekend (9/10). He made sure that Ngurah Rai Airport followed government guidelines regarding the procedures for implementing international passengers. Such as providing RT-PCR facilities to holding area facilities for passengers waiting for RT-PCR results.
