The Italian Business Association in Indonesia in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Rome (KBRI Rome), and Palm Oil Fund Management Agency held an offline forum for the first time in Rome with a title of “Epistemic Community and Market Forum (ECMF) Indonesia – Italy”. This event aimed to discuss latest policies related to sustainable vegetable oils and their impacts on the market and producers, and find inclusive solutions for smallholders in facing the global supply chain challenges.
The Epistemic Community and Market Forum (ECMF) is a dialogue forum for major stakeholders related to sustainable vegetable oils value chain, which include experts/academics (epistemic community), market actors including producers, importers and consumers, as well as public sector. The Forum will provide an opportunity to exchange views and experiences based on scientific-based data, as well as accurate and credible information.

The event was warmly welcomed by the Head of Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Rome, Head of Foreign Policy Strategy Agency, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (MoFA).
