Intesa Sanpaolo is the only Italian bank in the Refinitiv’s Diversity & Inclusion Index, an international ranking of the top 100 listed companies with the most inclusive and diverse workplaces.
The Diversity & Inclusion Index published by Refinitiv assesses over 9,000 companies worldwide in a transparent and objective manner with regard to diversity and inclusion, on the basis of 24 metrics across four key pillars: diversity, inclusion, people development and disputes.
In terms of equal opportunities and inclusion, Intesa Sanpaolo has set a precedent since it understood that an inclusive and diverse workplaces allows people to better express their skills and makes the Group increasingly solid and competitive on an international level.
In December 2018 Intesa Sanpaolo created the “Diversity & Inclusion” department, whose aim is to promote inclusivity, encourage respect for diversity and nurture an awareness of the value of diversity by making the most of the multi-cultural nature, experiences and characteristics of the people at our Group.
