The exhibition showcases a concise portrayal of the life and places of Pietro Vannucci, highlighting the distinctive stages of his artistic career. The exhibition was designed and realized by Stefano Baldi. Pietro Vannucci, also known as Il Perugino, was born between 1445 and 1452 in Castel della Pieve (now Città della Pieve) in Umbria. He came from a wealthy family in the city. Considered one of the key figures of the Renaissance art, by the late 1400s, he became one of the most renowned and influential painters of his time. He was active in Perugia, Florence, and Rome, with many of his works found in Umbria, Tuscany, and Marche. He passed away from the plague in 1523 in Fontignano, near Città della Pieve. The exhibition takes place at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura Jakarta - Jl. HOS Cokroaminoto 117 Menteng, Central Jakarta.
