In its eighteenth edition, the Giornata del Contemporaneo (Contemporary Art Museum Day) returns in October, in person: a major celebration that once again opens museums and other venues to the public, free of charge, offering hybrid online and offline fruition to encourage participation by as many venues as possible, and to promote and highlight the national and international contemporary art network.
From 8 to 14 October 2022, the Giornata del Contemporaneo | Italian Contemporary Art
will once again travel beyond the national borders: thanks to AMACI’s collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,
its cooperation network will be strengthened by all those institutional realities that spread and promote Italian contemporary art in other countries. The Eighteenth Giornata del Contemporaneo also offers the chance to present AMACI’s new coordinated image.
The rebranding was carried out by M&C Saatchi, following the call for proposals for strategic communication and branding of cultural and territorial enhancement projects 2022, a funding programme promoted by the Fondazione Italia Patria della Bellezza.
