The Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) Authority has signed three investment cooperation agreements with major private firms, marking a boost to development efforts in Nusantara and advancing the economic ecosystem of the new capital region. The partnerships will develop commercial and public service facilities, including retail centers, culinary zones, and sports amenities across several strategic development zones, designed to support daily needs and enhance urban vibrancy.
Head of the IKN Authority, Basuki Hadimuljono, emphasized that investor confidence continues to grow, with 57 companies committing approximately IDR72 trillion in private investment to date, facilitated by streamlined permitting and investor support. Projects are expected to strengthen economic activity, social infrastructure, and the overall attractiveness of Nusantara as a thriving new center of growth.
