Indonesia participated in the 2026 World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, from January 19–23, highlighting the country’s commitment to promoting global investment and sustainable industries. Through the Indonesia Pavilion and Indonesia Night, organized by the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM in collaboration with Danantara Indonesia and Kadin Indonesia, the nation presented itself as stable, competitive, and ready to play an active role in the global economy.
The event emphasized Indonesia’s strategic transformation in state asset management through Danantara Indonesia, showcasing professional, transparent funding mechanisms aligned with international best practices. Kadin Indonesia reinforced that the private sector is a reliable partner for global investors, particularly in downstreaming projects and green industry development. Indonesia also highlighted its potential as a global hub for green investment, including electric vehicles and low-carbon industries, supported by renewable energy resources and streamlined licensing via an enhanced Online Single Submission (OSS) system.
