Indonesia’s Trade Minister, Budi Santoso, inaugurated the simultaneous export of Indonesian products from eight different locations across eight provinces, with a combined value of approximately USD 58.77 million (around IDR 978 billion). The event, held at PT Denso Manufacturing Indonesia in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java, involved 31 companies ranging from large industries to micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM). Products being exported included electrical components for motor vehicles, solar panels, fisheries and plantation products, processed foods, and furniture and home décor. These goods are destined for various global markets, including ASEAN countries, the United States, Europe, Japan, China, and India.
Minister Santoso emphasized that the government seeks to ensure that export opportunities benefit all levels of businesses—from large corporations to cooperatives and small-scale producers. At the main location, PT Denso Manufacturing Indonesia shipped six containers of electrical automotive parts, such as wipers and power window motors, valued at about USD 26.4 million. To support exports further, the Ministry of Trade plans to strengthen promotional activities through overseas trade representatives, including trade attachés and Indonesian Trade Promotion Centers (ITPC) in 33 countries, helping expand Indonesian products’ reach in international markets.
