Domestic motorcycle sales in Indonesia maintained strong performance throughout 2025, with factory-to-dealer distribution reaching 5.4 million units by October. This progress brings the industry close to achieving AISI’s annual target of 6.4–6.7 million units, supported by October’s impressive result of 590,362 units—the highest monthly figure this year. AISI remains optimistic that full-year sales will surpass last year’s 6.33 million units, backed by stable economic conditions and solid contributions from major manufacturers including Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and TVS.
Export growth further strengthens the industry outlook. CBU motorcycle shipments rose from 43,926 units in September to 49,009 units in October, bringing total CBU exports to 459,166 units for January–October. CKD exports also inched up to 715,873 units in October. Domestic sales from January to October remained resilient despite monthly fluctuations, accumulating 5,427,253 units overall. Consistent gains across domestic and international markets signal continued vitality in Indonesia’s two-wheel sector, boosting confidence that the industry will close the year on a strong and positive trajectory.
