President Prabowo applauded Korea’s leadership in hosting APEC, describing the event as highly efficient, punctual and well-organized. He also expressed admiration for Korean pop culture’s global impact and the warm reception he received at a state dinner, noting how Indonesian youth are deeply engaged with Korean music and dance.
President Lee emphasized the importance of deeper dialogue against the backdrop of global security uncertainties, expressing appreciation for President Prabowo’s presence in South Korea. He commended Prabowo’s leadership in his first year in office and expressed hope that the Indonesian president’s previously postponed state visit could take place soon, saying that Korean society would welcome him wholeheartedly.
