At Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2025, the government unveiled the “Paviliun UMKM BISA Ekspor” (UMKM Dare to Innovate, Ready to Adapt Export) pavilion, which aims to be more than just a showcase of products—it stands as a symbol of the transformation journey of local small and medium enterprises (UMKM) toward global competitiveness. The pavilion features 20 selected UMKM products spanning creative goods, manufacturing, and primary commodities. These products have already passed through a curation and facilitation process by the Ministry of Trade, and many have established export transactions or international partnerships.
Minister of Trade Budi Santoso emphasized that the pavilion demonstrates the government’s commitment to enable UMKM to access global markets, highlighting innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability as guiding principles. Examples of participants include companies producing liquid organic fertilizer, leather goods, woven products from water hyacinth, and shoes, each reflecting the diversity and potential of Indonesia’s local industries in the export arena.
