Perum Perhutani Kesatuan Pemangkuan Hutan (KPH) Banyuwangi Utara has expressed strong support for the development of industrial estate investments in Banyuwangi. This support was conveyed during a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Legal, Technical, and Market Aspects held at Hotel Dialoog Banyuwangi. The event is part of the preparation for the Investment Project Ready to Offer (IPRO) in the 2025 fiscal year to boost industrial investment in Banyuwangi Regency.
Representing the KPH Banyuwangi Utara Administrator, Winarso, Head of the Legal, Compliance, Agrarian, and Cooperation Subdivision, stated that this program is a strategic step in preparing the industrial estate, taking into account legal, technical, and market factors that directly impact forest areas and surrounding communities. The initiative aligns with regional spatial planning policies to support sustainable development. Through this participation, Perhutani demonstrates its commitment to synergy with the Ministry of Investment/BKPM, especially the Deputy for Investment Planning, to promote sustainable investment in Banyuwangi. Pratana, Head of Banyuwangi Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP), appreciated Perhutani’s involvement, emphasizing the acceleration of IPRO preparation to create a healthy and productive investment climate for Banyuwangi’s progress.
