North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), has successfully exported local clove commodities to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This milestone was marked during the official export release held at Teluk Nara Terminal, symbolizing the revival of local superior commodities. Head of the NTB Trade Office, Jamaluddin Malady, emphasized that this achievement should inspire innovation and expansion of other local products to global markets.

The first shipment, carried out by PT Vertta Nusadaya Agre—founded by North Lombok’s own young entrepreneurs—highlights NTB’s growing role in global trade. This success is also linked to the recent business matching event in Gili Trawangan, which secured deals for 32 tons of cloves and 100 tons of cashews valued at IDR 11.2 billion. The provincial and local governments committed to strengthening market networks, easing export processes, and supporting continuous economic activity through high-value commodities such as coffee, cocoa, VCO, seafood, pearls, and spices.
