PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BCA) reported that the total export value generated by its assisted micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) exceeded IDR 100 billion as of May 2025. This was conveyed by BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono during the BCA Go Export MSME Incubation Program held at Hotel Ashley, Tanah Abang, Jakarta, on Monday, June 23, 2025. Widodo emphasized BCA’s commitment to supporting Indonesian MSMEs in entering global markets. The Go Export program is designed to equip MSMEs with the knowledge and guidance needed to identify international market opportunities, expand their reach, and overcome export-related challenges.
Now in its third year, the Go Export incubation program is joined by 31 BCA MSME clients and runs from June 23 to June 26, 2025. Widodo highlighted two successful MSMEs from the previous programs: an agricultural business from Jember that exported to Malaysia and Papua New Guinea in 2024, and a spice-processing business from Padang that reached the Thai market. In addition to the incubation program, BCA supports MSMEs through workshops and halal certification assistance—issuing around 3,000 halal certificates between 2023–2024. According to 2024 data from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Indonesia has over 65 million MSMEs, contributing 60% to GDP and employing 117 million people. BCA's EVP of Corporate Communication, Hera F. Haryn, affirmed that empowering MSMEs enables them to compete globally and promised continued support through BCA’s Bakti programs to help them grow and contribute to the national economy.
