On 12 June 2025, PT Selalu Cinta Indonesia (SCI) exported one container (4,666 pairs) of footwear to India, in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Customs in Semarang. The export launch event was held in Salatiga, Central Java, and led by the Director General of Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Textile Industries (IKFT) at the Ministry of Industry, Taufiek Bawazier. According to Taufiek, this export activity represents a significant step forward for the company in penetrating the global market and signals that Indonesia remains a destination for labour-intensive industries focused on exports.
At that time, the Acting Head of the Semarang Customs Office, Agung Marhaendra Putra, stated that the exported footwear is produced by local workers and meets international quality standards. With this achievement, PT SCI is demonstrating its commitment to strengthening the local economy and proving that the domestic industry can successfully compete in the global market. Agung is optimistic that this initiative will establish a foundation for long-term export collaboration and encourage other companies to pursue similar opportunities.
