The Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI) is ready to work together with the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia to encourage National Exports, especially the export-oriented SME sector. "We support the synergy between the Indonesian Ministry of Trade and the LPEI as the Ministry of Finance's Special Mission Vehicle (SMV) to jointly increase national exports through various facilities for financing, guarantees, insurance and consulting services," said LPEI Executive Director, D. James Rompas to reporters, Friday (6/11/2020).
The synergy between the Indonesian Ministry of Trade and LPEI has indeed been established for a long time. Through the Trade Expo Indonesia, the Ministry of Trade and the LPEI will facilitate Export-oriented SMEs to meet potential buyers from abroad."We fully support the holding of the Virtual Trade Expo Indonesia 2020 on November 10-16. Even though we are still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are still trying to support Indonesian SMEs or exporters to get access to meet foreign buyers and potential buyers, "he added.
Virtual Trade Expo Indonesia is a promotional event for Indonesian products as well as business matching between business players and foreign buyers. In this event, LPEI will include 12 selected fostered partners from the Consulting Services program called the Coaching Program for New Exporters (CPNE). This program itself aims to provide assistance to business actors to become exporters and bankable.
