Probolinggo Company Exports Uniforms Worth IDR 3.3 Billion

A company receiving bonded zone facilities from Probolinggo, PT. Putrateja Sempurna, recorded its first export of uniform products to Singapore with a total of 47,847 pcs worth SGD 275,504.91 or around IDR 3.3 billion. The release of the first export was carried out on Thursday (20/3/2025) by the Head of the East Java II Customs and Excise Regional Office, Agus Sudarmadi. He expressed his appreciation for PT Putrateja Sempurna which has contributed to the national economic supply chain. "The granting of a Bonded Zone permit allows the company to support economic growth and increase employment absorption," he said in an official statement quoted on Thursday (27/3/2025).

PT. Putrateja Sempurna, which is located in Kadomangan District, Probolinggo City, currently employs around 5,000 employees, the majority of whom come from the community around the company. Director of PT. Putrateja Sempurna, Supriyono, said that the bonded zone facility greatly helped his business in increasing competitiveness in the international market. "With the issuance of a bonded zone permit from the East Java II Customs Office, we can be more competitive and successfully realize exports," he said. The provision of this customs facility provides benefits in the form of a suspension of import duties and exemption from import taxes (PDRI) on raw materials, auxiliary materials, and production machines used to produce export goods. It is hoped that this facility can encourage the development of domestic industry and increase the competitiveness of Indonesian products in the global market.
