The Bali Provincial Government Encourages the Use of Domestic Products Through Digital Procurement

The Provincial Government of Bali is promoting the use of domestic products through digital procurement to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Collaborating with the Government Goods and Services Procurement Agency (LKPP RI), they organized a Business Meeting and Travel Fair in Denpasar. This event aimed to connect the Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) of the Bali Provincial Government with local MSME providers who have joined digital procurement marketplaces. Attended by officials such as the Head of the Bali Provincial Office of Cooperatives, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, I. Wayan Ekadina, and the Head of the Bureau of Goods and Services Procurement and the Economy of the Bali Provincial Secretariat, I Ketut Adiarsa, the event also saw participation from LKPP RI and various other stakeholders. Since 2020, the Bali Provincial Government has been accelerating digital procurement transformation through the LKPP RI partner's online store marketplace. This initiative aims to make procurement faster, easier, more transparent, accountable, and electronically recorded. Over 2,750 MSMEs have joined as suppliers in the LKPP's online store marketplace, with more than 100,000 products available. Orders to local Bali MSMEs through online shopping have surpassed 86,000, amounting to IDR 360 billion.

Through collaborations with Mbizmarket, the Bali Provincial Government hopes to absorb Bali's MSME products marketed on the platform. The event also featured various OPD participants visiting supplier booths, selecting desired goods, and sampling food and drinks. The Head of the Bureau of Goods and Services Procurement and the Economy of the Bali Provincial Secretariat, Ketut Adiarsa, expressed optimism about the continuous improvement of digital procurement through the LKPP's online store marketplace, highlighting innovations like the MbizTravel feature, which accommodates the government's travel needs. Mbizmarket's CEO and Co-Founder, Ryn Mulyanto Riyadi Hermawan, echoed support for the Business Meeting and Travel Fair, emphasizing the potential of the MbizTravel feature to simplify the travel arrangements needed by Bali Provincial Civil Servants. The MbizTravel feature aims to assist local travel agents in Bali to compete as online travel agents and offers additional conveniences like online payments through connections with local banks and credit card acceptance. The utilization of the LKPP's online store marketplace is expanding across Bali, encompassing various regions, including Buleleng, Gianyar, Badung, Tabanan, Klungkung, and Denpasar.
