The Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy allocates an additional EUR 466.4 million from the available resources of the National Supplementary Program for Action and Business Cohesion and Competitiveness 2014-2020. The aim is to support projects ranked in the 'Pilot Projects', 'Innovation Consulting Vouchers', and 'Sustainable Investments 4.0' facilitative interventions, deemed eligible for funding but lacking or not fully covered by the financial allocation. Additionally, it aims to co-finance projects selected under European calls related to the EU initiative 'Chips for Europe'.
Specifically, supplementary allocations include EUR 66.2 million for 'Pilot Projects' to facilitate the implementation of the final ranking approved on April 13, 2023, supporting projects crucial for the development of local entrepreneurial and employment fabric. EUR 13.7 million is designated for 'Innovation Consulting Vouchers' to fund additional projects supporting technological and digital transformation processes and the modernization of management and organizational structures of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. EUR 356.4 million is allocated for 'Sustainable Investments 4.0' to facilitate the processing of the admission ranking to the instructional phase approved on October 30, 2023, enabling the funding of programs for businesses in Southern Italian regions. Finally, EUR 30 million is allocated for the national co-financing of projects selected under European calls issued by the Chips Joint Undertaking, as part of the 'Chips for Europe' initiative, related to the launch of innovative pilot lines in the semiconductor ecosystem.
