Based on data from the industry research and development agency shows that Indonesia's exports in January 2019 decreased to 4.70%. To increase exports, the role of logistics is very influential, but based on the logistics performance index 2018, Indonesia's logistical ranking is at number 46 while European countries still control the logistics with good performance. As a solution to this, the government implements a smart logistic 4.0, where all systems and tools that will be used based on modern technology. In addition, the need for an increase in the number of non-oil exports is also in the spotlight,  in 2019 the Government Work Plan have a planning to increase the number of export until 7-9% by accelerating the settlement of negotiations with Australia, Mozambique, Tunisia, Morocco, the European Union, and RCEP, in addition, there are also opening new markets in Africa, Eurasia, South America, etc.
In 2019, according to the American and European directors general plan to support economic diplomacy through strengthening the acceptance of ISPO, the completion of IT-CEPA 'trade in goods' negotiations, business forums (France, Italy, and Greece), socialization of market intelligence, familiarization trips, cooperation vocational education, etc. One of the obstacles in exports and imports is because of the expensive transportation costs in the distribution process, as a government customs and excise solution planning for an increase in exports through system integration and procedural simplification through the existence of Indonesia National Single Window (INSW), a portal that covers all Indonesian information systems starting from the port system, monetary / financial system, population system, state security system, and other systems supported by Risk Management (ISRM).
Through a system called smart customs and D / O Online based on the regulation of the Minister of transportation number 120 in 2017. Do online is a redemption program for delivery orders from shipping lines by goods owners/freight forwarders electronically. As a conclusion, the best solutions to boost the export activities is through the integration of the system and the utilization of advanced technology as the implementation of industry 4.0, so the logistic access will be processed smoothly to support the export and import processes.
