The Department of Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service (DPMPTSP) in Bantul Regency claims that the realization of investment achievements in 2023 has surpassed the set targets. Against the 2023 investment realization target of IDR 394.8 billion, as of mid-December 2023, the actual realization reached IDR 444.5 billion, translating to an impressive 112.61% accomplishment. Annihayah, the Head of DPMPTSP Bantul, highlighted the success in exceeding targets, attributing it to the achievements in the fourth quarter of 2023. In this quarter alone, the realization surpassed the target of IDR 74.79 billion, reaching a substantial IDR 124.5 billion. The remarkable achievement of 112.61% includes both Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Domestic Direct Investment (DDI), distributed across various sectors such as tourism, trade and repair, textile industry, housing, industrial and office areas, food industry, transportation, warehouse, and communication. Notably, a significant portion of the investments in Bantul is still dominated by the creative economy sector, aligning with the region's status as a tourist destination.
Annihayah also pointed out the surplus in the target for new workforce additions. Originally targeting 600 new hires, the current realization stands at 732 individuals. Alongside the investment overachievement, there has been an increase in the implementation of the One-Stop Service (MPP). The actualization of 20 service stalls, exceeding the target of 12, and the issuance of the Online Single Submission (NIB) rose from the targeted 600 to 736. The success in surpassing the 2023 realization targets in Bantul is attributed to effective mentoring and several innovative initiatives. Notable innovations include Geplak, a Supervision Movement for Investment Activity Reports (LKPM), and Adrem Manis, an Administrative Permit for Advertising through the Geographical Information System (GIS). Through this system, advertising entrepreneurs can monitor licenses connected to a map. Annihayah expressed hope that the investment realization in the coming year will not fluctuate but consistently meet or exceed targets, underlining the commitment to sustained growth and development in the region.
