The Bandung Investment Summit (BIS) annually promotes investments and emphasizes urban environmental sustainability and quality improvement. Investment achievements in 2022 surpassed the target by 117.14%, reaching IDR 7.79 trillion. By Q3 2023, it reached 87.12% of the targeted IDR 7.25 trillion. Acknowledging contributions from foreign and domestic entities to Bandung's economic projects, the Department of Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) appreciates their role. Additionally, expedited Business Identification Number (NIB) issuance for Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) through Sakedap services showcases efficiency, with 1,569 NIBs issued in 2023, totaling 73,881 since the Risk-based OSS implementation in 2021. Bandung's recognition as a Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) in 2019 and its elevation to a Clean Bureaucracy Serving Area (WBBM) demonstrate its commitment to good governance. Moreover, earning the Prime category award as an Outstanding Public Service Agency (MPP) in 2023 further highlights its achievements.
