Pamerindo Indonesia is set to host the 32nd edition of Manufacturing Indonesia 2023 from December 6 to 9, 2023, at JIExpo Kemayoran Jakarta. This exhibition promises to be on a larger scale, featuring over 1,200 exhibitors from 29 countries, providing comprehensive insights into cutting-edge technology, innovative products, and business networking opportunities. Manufacturing Indonesia has consistently been the largest and most trusted manufacturing trade show, showcasing machinery, equipment, and tools under one roof. Beyond that, it has served as a platform for the exchange of technology, ideas, and new concepts, accelerating the development of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. The event aims to engage more exhibitors, fostering a robust smart manufacturing ecosystem for the industry. The theme, "Towards Society 5.0," aligns with efforts to accelerate sustainable development and paradigm transformation towards Society 5.0 in the manufacturing sector and Industry 4.0.
The government's current focus on expediting digital transformation in the manufacturing industry aligns with the exhibition's objectives. As one of the seven priority sectors for development and a key driver of the economy, manufacturing contributes 70% to the GDP, 65% to industrial exports, and employs 60% of the industrial workforce in Indonesia. The rapid digital transformation will create new paradigms in the industry, emphasizing the importance of Indonesia's human resources driving mindset changes. This critical step ensures adaptation and success in the development and growth of the manufacturing industry in this dynamic era.
