The Vice Governor of Central Kalimantan (Kalteng), Edy Pratowo, believes that Central Kalimantan has the potential for exporting agricultural and fisheries products. The potential and opportunities for local agricultural and fisheries product exports in Central Kalimantan are very promising, as stated while participating in the series of events commemorating the anniversary of Indonesia's Quarantine in Palangka Raya on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Regarding the various potentials, Edy called on all stakeholders to be optimistic about boosting the regional economy.
He urged local leaders in regencies and cities, as well as all stakeholders, to promptly identify and significantly map the potential for exporting agricultural and fisheries products in Central Kalimantan. Furthermore, he emphasized the need for a commitment to facilitate and provide guidance to enhance competitiveness.
