Festival Bogasari, which recently took place in three cities over three weeks from September 10 to 23, served as a platform to support the growth of local Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Indonesian culinary industry. The event featured 90 SMEs, each showcasing their unique products, including Nederland Bakery Cirebon, Citra Rasa Kue Majalengka, Hisana Fried Chicken, Twin Bakery & Cake, Dapur Ceu Edoh (traditional snacks), Pangsit Cinuy, Pandawa Kulit Lumpia, Martabak IKTS Semarang, Martabak Pelangi Semarang, Papa Cookies Bantul, Dewi Cakra Zuppa Soup Bantul, Mie Ayam Hijau Spirulina Yogyakarta, Malika Kebab, and many more.
The festival not only provided a platform for SMEs to introduce their products but also inspired them to continue innovating. Eriyanto Eko Saputro, owner of Papa Cookies Bantul, a Yogyakarta-based SME, expressed, "This event is very meaningful for us SME owners because it not only helps introduce our products but also inspires us to continue innovating."
In addition to entertainment, the festival offered various engaging activities, including group exercises to promote a healthy lifestyle. Bogasari also provided inspiration through baking demonstrations showcasing collaborative products made with local agricultural produce. This initiative aimed to encourage SMEs to use local agricultural products in their recipes, creating distinctive regional specialties that support the growth of the SME industry in Indonesia.
Bogasari introduced Cakra Kembar special bread and Cakra Kembar special noodle flour in 25 kg packaging to support SME growth. These products are specifically designed for SMEs, and while they are not currently available for general retail, they are intended to cater to the changing consumption patterns and technological advancements in the Indonesian market.
