During the 2023's Eid Al-Fitr holiday, all tourist destinations in Kerinci were crowded with visitors, including those managed by the government, private sector, and Bumdes. The number of visitors increased across all destinations. The Head of the Kerinci Tourism Office, Juanda, reported that in the three days following Eid Al-Fitr, government-owned tourist destinations had already recorded 26,000 visitors, while data for private sector and Bumdes-owned destinations are still being collected. Although the number of visitors to government-owned destinations increased, it was not significantly higher than in the previous year, possibly due to the opening of new tourist destinations managed by Bumdes.
During the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, the economic growth rate in Kerinci was high due to the influx of visitors from other regions such as Jambi, Mukomuko, Sumbar, and other provinces. The tourism sector aimed to generate IDR 500 million in revenue within 10 days during the holiday. The Aroma Pecco destination had approximately 8,000 visitors from the second day to the fourth day, and this number is predicted to continue to increase. To attract visitors, the Tourism Office provided entertainment, such as live music performances. Visitors were required to purchase entrance tickets in accordance with Perda regulations, and parking was managed by the Transportation Office.
