Anticipated Rise in Domestic Tourists Expected in Bali a Week Before Eid al-Fitr

The Head of Bali Provincial Tourism Office, Tjok Bagus Pemayun, predicts an increase in domestic tourist arrivals during the Eid al-Fitr holiday in 2023, with arrivals expected to start seven days before the holiday, especially from Java Island. Tjok Bagus targets a 20% increase in domestic tourists to Bali compared to regular days, with the most tourists expected from DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, North Sumatra, and East Kalimantan. Beach attractions are predicted to be the most visited tourist sites, followed by village tourism sites and the Kintamani and Lake Batur areas. Tjok Bagus urged tourism stakeholders to maintain services and implement CHSE protocols to ensure clean and comfortable tourist destinations.

The Head of Bali Provincial Tourism Office also emphasized the importance of cleanliness and comfort in attracting visitors, and urged tourist destinations to ensure well-maintained facilities, including clean toilets. He expressed hope that all areas in Bali, including lesser-known areas like Karangasem and Lovina, would benefit from the tourist arrivals during Eid al-Fitr holiday. Overall, the prediction of increased domestic tourist arrivals during the holiday period presents an opportunity for Bali's tourism industry, and stakeholders are encouraged to prioritize safety, cleanliness, and comfort for visitors
