Vice President K.H. Ma'ruf Amin urged the International Business Association (IBA) to fully support the optimal investment climate in Indonesia, particularly in green investments. He made this statement during his speech at the Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) and Indonesian Diaspora Iftar event in Singapore, along with 12 other countries, on Sunday, April 9, 2023.
"I hope that IBA will continue to solidify its role as a government partner in improving and building a favorable investment climate throughout Indonesia," said the Vice President. "Especially in green investments, so that the national economy continues to thrive and generate prosperity for all people," he added.
The Vice President also emphasized the importance of the safety of Indonesian citizens abroad, particularly in Singapore. He requested the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore to provide the best services for Indonesian citizens there. Additionally, the Vice President appreciated the organization of the iftar event initiated by IBA and the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore, as it demonstrates tangible care for migrant workers and the diaspora in Singapore. Accompanying the Vice President at this event were the Head of the Vice President's Secretariat, Ahmad Erani Yustika, the Deputy for Human Development Policy Support and Development Equality, Suprayoga Hadi, as well as the Vice President's Special Staff, Masduki Baidlowi and Robikin Emhas.
