The Italian importing company "Balibali Srl" received the 2021 Primaduta Award from the Trade Attache of the Indonesian Embassy in Rome. Fabio Giuseppe Lanzieri, the owner of "Balibali Srl" received an award from the Trade Attache of the Indonesian Embassy in Rome, Silvi Sumanti and witnessed by Ambassador Muhammad Prakosa and was attended by Deputy Head of Economics and ITPC Lefianna Ferdinandus, which took place at the Indonesian Embassy in Rome (27/01). Balibali Srl is an importer of Indonesian ethnic sandals and fashion products. Balibali was chosen as one of the 25 winners of the 2021 Primaduta Award after going through a selection process from 303 importers from 50 proposed countries, according to a written statement from the Indonesian Embassy in Rome received in Jakarta, Sunday. Balibali's victory at the Primaduta Award was also announced at the opening of the 36th Trade Expo Indonesia Digital Edition on October 21, 2021.
Fabio Giuseppe Lanzieri, the owner of Balibali, said that he was very impressed with the quality of the product, the agility, and the thoroughness of making sandals in Bali when he visited Bali a dozen years ago. Lanzieri decided to start importing Balinese sandals, rattan bags, belts, and sarongs to Italy in 2003. Over the years, the company has perfected the quality, materials, and packaging of various products with Indonesian craftsmen and expanded the Indonesian product market in Italy and Europe. Indonesian Ambassador to Rome Muhammad Prakosa expressed his appreciation for the contribution of Balibali Srl in promoting and increasing exports of Indonesian products in Italy and expressed hope that cooperation with Indonesian businesses, especially small and medium enterprises, could continue to be improved. Primaduta Award is an award given by the Government of Indonesia to foreign importers to increase the growth of Indonesia's exports to the global market; give appreciation to importers who have been loyal to buy Indonesian products on an ongoing basis and have an increasing import value, and develop the types of products purchased from Indonesia.
