The meeting between IBAI and BKPM held on Friday, 4th March 2016 at BKPM Office. The meeting has attended by IBAI Board, Bapak Himawan, Bapak Siburian, Bapak Andria Buchara, dan Ibu Endah.
Scope of the meeting was especially to asked Bapak Siburian,etc if their assignment to Europe and of course Italy (Bapak Andria Buchara) is reserved to promotion and help to new starts up or also to help Italian companies, that came through BKPM, on their specific problems.
Investment Coordinating Board Republic of Indonesia – BKPM
As a government institution BKPM has eight representative offices in Europe. The representative offices in Europe will assist the foreign company who want to invest in Indonesia to BKPM Office in Indonesia.
BKPM has eight targeted countries, such as: United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Netherland, Switzerland, Sweden Russian and France.
BKPM has one stop service for investment licensing services that has been officially launched on Monday, 11th January 2016. The services are:
Investment license, Tax Identification Number (NPWP), Deed of Establishment and Approval Decree from the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, Company Registration, Foreign Workers Employment Permit, Plan of Foreign Workers Employment, Producer Importer Identification Number and Customs Identification Number (NIK). >
BKPM is willing to help Italian Companies in Indonesia for investment matters and to facilitate the company to encounter the related department (unit) or to other government institution also BKPM has signed MoU between BKPM and ICE in August 2015 at Milan Expo. The purpose of the event is to collaborate between BKPM and ICE in promotion and interchange data between BKPM and ICE.
BKPM has been divided into three areas:
Central that provide the investment permit, tax number, import number, TDP, and working permit
Federal
Region that provide building, location permit, extend working permit, and AMDAL.
Target from BKPM to increase the investment from Italy by promote more Indonesian business or investment opportunity.
BKPM is planning to develop investment in Tourism area and is as basically interested to invite Italian investor in this sector.
