The Governor of Central Java offered three investment projects to China. The three are integrated waste management, the establishment of an international-scale hospital, and a giant sea wall on the North Coast (Pantura). He made the offer when receiving a courtesy call delegation from the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China at his office, Wednesday (19/3/2025) evening. The visit was led by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Indonesia, Wang Lutong. "The Chinese Ambassador visited Central Java for the second time, in Cilacap, and today came directly to the office. They brought consultants, seven investors including the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Representatives of Chinese Banks, Vice President of Investment, along with embassy staff," said Luthfi.

Meanwhile, the Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia, Wang Lutong said that there will be many more agreements that can be achieved in the future. "We have reached an agreement, we will bring more investors to Indonesia, especially Central Java Province," he said. Wang explained that Indonesia is one of China's major investment destinations in recent years. Investment from China in Indonesia has resulted in the development of thousands of projects. Head of the Central Java Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP), Sakina Rosellasari, added that China is a country with large investments in Central Java. Of the total investment value of IDR 88.44 trillion in 2024, 16% came from Chinese investors.
