On 19 September 2022, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) and Italian Embassy in Jakarta organized a webinar on “CDP Business Matching: the new digital platform connecting Italian and Indonesian companies”, supported by the Italian Business Association in Indonesia (IBAI), Italian Trade Agency (ITA), Simest, Sace, Confindustria, Business 20 (B20), and Kadin Indonesia.

The event was opened by the opening remark of H.E Benedetto Latteri as Ambassador of Italy in Jakarta, Ms. Antonella Baldino as the Head of CDP International Cooperation and Development Financing, and Mr. Jerry Sambuaga, the Deputy Minister of Trade, Ministry of Foreign Trade Indonesia.

The discussion involved the Head of B20, Chairman of Italy Committee Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), Vice Chairman IBAI, Head of CDP Development Financing, and Senior Expert Indirect Channels (SIMEST) that informed several updates about the role private sector between Indonesian and Italian companies to develop B2B and new commercial partnerships, as well as the business opportunities in investment and trade relation.
