The seaweed cultivation in Asemnonggal Village, Jrengik Sub-district, continues to progress. On Friday (06/09/2024), the Sampang Regency Government conducted an inspection. Wahyu Prihartono, Head of the Fisheries Service of Sampang Regency, stated that after several rounds of seed distribution, they are now reviewing the seaweed farming progress. "This seaweed product will be exported to countries like China and Vietnam. Regular evaluations are essential to ensure the quality meets investor expectations," he said on Sunday (08/09/2024). The first harvest is planned for the end of October, and efforts are being made to avoid any obstacles. The inspection was attended by the Regent's Expert Staff for Human Resources and Community Affairs, the Head of Bappedalitbang, Jrengik Forkopimcam, and investors from CV. Jeeva Bumi Nusantara, and local farmers.
