TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo reviewed the licensing process or One-Gate Integrated Service (PTSP) at the office of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Jakarta, Monday (1/14/2019).
Jokowi who wore long-sleeved brown batik and accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution and Head of BKPM Thomas Lembong arrived at around 09:50 WIB.
Jokowi explained, a direct review of the licensing process at BKPM, to ensure that the Online Single Submission (OSS) system launched by the government went well and made it easier for investors.
"Licenses with a simplified online system, available to fill in from the office and home, what the process looks like. Earlier I asked some of investors who came, the community, I saw it fast enough," said Jokowi.
According to Jokowi, licensing at BKPM takes two hours, such as initial permits, permits for the holding company number and business license. Where, after obtaining the permit, the community or investors can immediately start their investment activities.
"While waiting for another month of service level agreement regarding location permits, environmental permits, building permits. But it can start first," Jokowi said.
