The National Strategic Projects (PSN) in Indonesia have been continuously developed by the government to accelerate infrastructure development and support economic equalization. Recently, the Ministry of Economic Affairs held a commemorative event to mark the eight-year journey and success of PSN in providing sustainable benefits and real impacts for national economic growth. Airlangga Hartarto, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Chairman of the Committee for Acceleration of Priority Infrastructure Provision (KPPIP), emphasized the importance of completing PSN projects by 2024 to avoid any unfinished projects. The government has facilitated the completion of various national strategic projects through PSN and remains committed to their progress.
As of May 2023, the government has accelerated the development of 156 PSN projects with a total investment value of Rp1,080.2 trillion. The success of PSN has significantly impacted Indonesian society, particularly in areas such as connectivity infrastructure, energy resilience, food sovereignty, disaster mitigation, and industrial downstreaming. Strong collaboration and cooperation among ministries, stakeholders, businesses, and the community, especially the younger generation, are crucial for the future success of PSN and the realization of Indonesia's vision for 2045.
